PO1: Starting salary £40,389 pa rising in annual increment to £42,855 per annum incl LW

0.6 (21 hours per week) 

1 x Fixed Term Contract – 9 months

About the Team:

VenueLambeth are responsible for facilitating, delivering and promoting events within indoor venues across London Borough of Lambeth. Our aim is to provide our residents, local community and the wider London market with an eclectic and diverse range of spaces for community events, commercial hire and private celebrations within our heritage venues. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and client communication, from enquiry to event delivery, ensuring all event logistics are managed to the highest standard. 

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Venues Team on a part-time basis and help us bring new audiences into Brockwell Hall throughout its exciting redevelopment to ensure that when the venue opens in 2023 that the Hall is already an income generating heritage venue and boasts a full calendar of suitable activities and events from the outset. 

In collaboration with the Heritage Lottery Fund, Lambeth Council and the Brockwell Park Community Partners, the project bring significant investment to ensure the future of Brockwell Hall, with a key focus on heritage and culture while offering customers outstanding facilities for a range of events. We are looking for a proactive individual to build the brand identity of the venue ahead of the venue opening in Winter 2024 and manage the sales and marketing of the venue to ensure there are bookings scheduled as soon as the venue opens. The successful candidate will set up the booking operations and processes so there is a seamless customer journey that aligns with the other venues within the VenueLambeth Portfolio.

You will have proven experience in marketing venues through print, digital and online marketing, developing brand identities, managing social media accounts and ideally have a solid understanding of listed buildings. The role is seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills to build good working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders and will suit a candidate with lots of creativity, energy, initiative, and vision.
