The role of Master Planning Scheduler will join at an exciting time as the business introduce a new MRP system. As part of this you will drive the new MRP system implementation across both the UK and US sites. So will have a huge opportunity to influence processes that ensure an optimised flow to deliver operational outputs that meet customer satisfaction.
Key duties include:
- Oversee the development and execution of the Planning activity across all relevant functions.
- Lead the MRP implementation.
- Interact with members of cross functional team
- Determine direction, timelines, schedules and activities for area(s) of project
- Establish strong working relationships with both key internal and external stakeholders
- Possess accurate forecasting skills for completion of project tasks
- Ensure deliverables are met on time, in full and on budget
- Perform training and knowledge sharing with peers
- Perform core training
- Interact with members of cross functional team
- Overseeing the MRP systems overall health, user’s compliance and reporting to leadership management on its performance and directing the disciplined maintenance of the system inputs.
- Coordinating configuration of the ERP/MRP system for opportunities of new or improved planning and production processes to assure current or future requirements.
- Develop and maintain processes to monitor performance against the agreed business and area targets
- Contributing to financial planning process and forecasts through the maintenance of key data sets
- Drive the set up of new production facility in USA remotely via a series of key/critical measures, liaising day to day with the site and responsible Scheduling resource

Knowledge and Experience
- Extensive background in planning having worked with many leading ERP/MRP systems; including launch project(s)
- Experience of managing MPS and S&OP processes and facilitating senior management demand and supply coordination
- Experience of working in a complex engineering / manufacturing primary processes and assembly environment
- Ability to process, analyse, report and make objective recommendations for complex operational and commercial scenarios
- Demonstrate breath of MRP System knowledge – SAP, Oracle, Etc.
- Strong Excel Skills
- Having worked in a KPI driven environment
