SalarySearch are looking to recruit a mastic applicator for work in Glasgow City Centre.
Duties include
* Preparing surfaces for application by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed
* Measuring and cutting sealant or adhesive to the correct size
* Applying sealant or adhesive using various tools such as caulking gun, spatula or scrapper
* Ensuring that sealant or adhesive is applied correctly and to the correct specifications
* Following safety procedures and regulations
* Communicating with other members of the construction team, such as builders and supervisors, to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of clients
* Maintaining equipment, materials and tools
* Keeping accurate records of the materials and the surfaces on which they are applied
