Job Description:

At Colchester United FC, we take pride in delivering an exceptional Matchday experience for all our supporters. We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing individual to join our highly successful Matchday team in the role of Matchday Experience Assistant.

The Matchday Experience Assistantprimary responsibility is to provide outstanding customer service and offer vital administrative support during Matchday events. This role may involve working at the main reception area in close collaboration with our Club Secretary or within one of our matchday hospitality areas alongside our Partnerships & Hospitality Sales Manager. Key duties include welcoming and assisting various visitors, such as Directors, Players' Guests, and Hospitality Customers, managing inquiries, ticket distribution and verification, and ensuring the smooth flow of people and information. The Matchday Experience Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting our commercial department to deliver a top-tier hospitality experience.

Hours of Work:

This role primarily involves working during home matchdays, which are typically on Saturday daytime and Tuesday evenings. Some bank holidays may also be included in the schedule, with shifts typically lasting four hours.

Rate of Pay:

Up to GBP10.42 per hour
