We are looking for several Material Handler to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington.
This is a 1-month fixed term Cummins contract working 37.5 hours per week across the following shift pattern.
Days – Monday to Friday 06:00 – 14:00
Backs – Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 Friday 14:00 – 19:10
Nights – Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
Salary is £26,651.78 plus shift premium.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Materials Handlers are responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of materials and components for production/assembly operations.
Shift working on a fast-paced production line, to support materials requirements for building diesel engines by following standard operating procedures/disciplined methods.
You will undertake a wide range of repetitive tasks involving lifting, bending, carrying, and handling of components.
To work to disciplined methods/standard operations.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Basic literacy and numeracy.
To be able to read and understand written instructions to apply to production.
Previous assembly experience in a production/factory environment is preferred but not essential.
Experience of operating fork-lift trucks and other site vehicles would be an advantage.
