Job Purpose:

- Ensure the timely supply of materials to meet production schedules and maintain operational continuity.

- Deliver efficient and flexible solutions to achieve production targets.

- Maintain strong relationships with all departments to ensure material supply meets requirements.

- Assist the logistics and purchasing team in developing supply solutions aligned with production needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide and maintain schedules for the supply of externally provided materials based on the master schedule.

- Manage day-to-day Work Order materials, including sourcing from stock or informing purchasing of requirements.

- Assess volume requirements, ensuring stock processes align with production plan requirements.

- Identify and assess areas of materials risk to minimise impact on production schedules.

- Implement actions for all parts of the materials supply process, coordinating with purchasing and production.

- Utilise Material Requirements Planning (MRP/ERP) systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.

- Monitor the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and provide feedback on inventory accuracy.

- Monitor inventory levels, aid logistics in setting safety stocks based on production output requirements.

Working Conditions:

- Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday (depending on business needs)

- 5s standard

- 37.5 hours per week

- Able to work shifts, including earlies and lates

Experience and Knowledge:

- Experience in Material planning.

- Experience within the aviation industry.

- Proven use of advanced interaction with ERP systems.

- SAP Knowledge.

- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

- Knowledge of BoM, Route, and fundamental production planning concepts (forward and backward scheduling / MRP).

- Understanding of LEAN/JIT/Process improvement techniques, ideally with practical implementation experience.
