Material Planner

An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites across Europe require a Material Planner for analysing and responding to supply requirements from manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a production planning environment and be a proven master scheduler.
Commutable from: Birmingham, Redditch, Coventry, Solihull, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa
Rate: £19.03 Per Hour + 4.3% shift allowance 1 week in 4 on afternoons.

The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will have the following duties:
-Analysis and response to supply requirements from manufacturing.
-Ensure timely fulfilment of parts supply maintaining MRP schedule accuracy.
-Liaise with demand and master scheduler to identify schedule changes and communicate to the impacted suppliers.
The Person
Educated to a minimum of HNC in a manufacturing or supply chain discipline you will have the following experience:
-Proven experience in production planning preferably in automotive manufacturing.
-Knowledge of lean logistics and lean production principles.
-Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft packages.
