Material Stores Coordinator

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Material Stores Coordinator. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This Material Stores Coordinator position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion.

Role Responsibilities will include:

• The purpose of this position is to serve as the on-site principal (within the One Material Management - OMM framework) that coordinates all material availability at the right time and at minimum cost.
• Works with Production, Production Control & Central Material Management functions (Supply Coordinator) to achieve on-time completion of projects as it pertains to Material availability at minimum (logistics) costs.
• Challenge, screen and support Central Purchasing Unit in material requests clarifications and finding local alternative options involving Production and Engineering e.g. optional repairs, alternative P/N's, deferrals etc.

Skills and Experience required:

• Technical / Aviation background, preferably university degree
• Professional experience with aircraft maintenance and overhaul of minimum 3 years
• Good knowledge of other logistics processes (planning & purchasing, warehouse, transport)
