Job Title: Materials Controller
Location: Blackwood
Salary: £28,000 a year salary

Hours: Full time. Monday – Friday days regular a 37.5 hour week

Here at The Recruitment Co we are currently recruiting a Materials controller for a company in the Blackwood area on a full time permanent contract.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the efficient running of the workshop tool stores and maintaining high levels of productivity.
• Ensuring good housekeeping and tools organization and maintaining accurate information in the database.
• Ensure compliance with Purchasing and HSE processes for procurement of new tools & equipment
• Liaise with Operations Managers for coordinating the continual maintenance of tools
• Work in conjunction with Buyers to administer and monitor all aspects of tool maintenance contracts.
• Identify suppliers for sourcing of aircraft MRO tools and workshop equipment, place purchase orders in SAP system
• Manage certain consumable commodities
• Liaise with the workshop to ensure equipment required for hire is available.
• Ensure appropriate processes are in place to optimise spares availability to meet workshop demand.
• Work within the Health & Safety policy of the company to ensure safe working practises.
• Manage the test cycles for vibratory tools
• Support material control process in workshop to ensure housekeeping and data accuracy in system
• Support material control related queries to assist work order management
• Assist with continuous improvement agendas for tools and purchasing activities.
• Ensure processes are in compliance with AS9110 C and UKCAA and EASA 145 regulatory standards

Required Experience

• Previous Materials controlling experience is essential
