EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for aMaterials Handling Operative to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.
Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

EMBS Engineering is in exclusive partnership with an award-winning precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a leading specialist in the manufacture of machined and fabricated turn key components.
Your responsibilities include:
- Verify that material and part certifications meet the specifications detailed in the Purchase Order
- Allocate Works Orders to Stock
- Communicating with Suppliers and Customers to resolve issues
- Conducting stock checks, making adjustments and write-offs, and investigating work orders
- Control of clients' problem tracker - liaising to resolve shortage issues
- Ensure traceability of all raw materials and parts
- Pull material/purchase order receipt and loading/unloading when required
- Communicating with internal departments to resolve stock adjustments and issues
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail when verifying materials and parts against purchase orders
- Experienced in maintaining and tracking inventory
- Confident in communicating with suppliers and customers to manage orders and resolve issues with any orders
- Confident in adapting to various systems for updating records and informing customers about stock levels
