Are you a Materials Inspector or similar with a background in the food industry looking for a varied role where you will be offered industry specific training, opportunities for progression and overtime to significantly increase earnings?
This Company are a market leading meat provider that source products from the UK and abroad supplying to a range of manufacturing companies across the UK hosting a number of blue chip clients.
In this role you will be reviewing the overall condition of materials coming into the factory, ensuring anything that is entering factory is meeting the specifications that are outline by the supplier, updating the suppliers specifications with the discrepancies and attaching rejection notices outlining issues that become apparent, before reporting them to the technical manager. You will also have client facing responsibilities within this role to ensure the upkeep of healthy relationships with suppliers over the phone as well as assisting the Technical Manager on any client visits when required.
This role is suited to a Materials Inspector or similar with a background in the food industry looking for a role that offers training and progression opportunities with overtime to help boost earnings.
The Role:
* Review Raw Materials
* Record and Report all findings
* Improve Quality of materials
* Assist with Factory visits and Audits
* Monday - Friday , 7am - 15pm
The Person:
* HACCP trained
* Familiar with Food Hygiene standards
* Proficency with Excel
* Commutable to Wakefield
