Job description

The primary role of the Maternity Support Worker (MSW) is to assist, support and work in collaboration with the midwife and the wider MDT in order to provide safe and holistic approach to woman centred care.
This rewarding role is with the Preterm Birth team and at the centre of innovative care.
The Preterm Birth team provide compassionate and holistic care to women and birthing people at risk of late miscarriage or Preterm Birth.
Preparing for and assisting with scan lists,
Preparing for and assisting in antenatal clinic,
Taking blood and handling clinical samples,
Supporting women and birthing people during surgical procedures,
Making appointments and sending out correspondence,
Providing admin support to the PTB team.
