About the opportunity:
CathWest Innovation College is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to join their collaborative team on a Temporary Full-time basis, commencing 13 May 2024 to 20 September 2024. This role replaces a leave of absence of a permanent member of staff.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Have a thorough knowledge of the new Mathematics curriculum
Successfully plan and implement programs that apply explicit teaching and learning pedagogy in the area of Mathematics.
Able to create and maintain safe, inclusive and challenging learning environments and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans
Be able to operate effectively at all stages of the teaching and learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers
Qualification & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in Education
NESA Accreditation
Statements of Service
Working with Children Check clearance (essential)
Exceptional communication skills
