Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mathematics teacher to inspire and educate our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that promote mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic success and personal development of our students while working within a supportive and collaborative faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of secondary school students.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and facilitate their understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and independent learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and innovative approaches to Mathematics education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support the holistic development of each student.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) highly desirable.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field, with strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and enhancing teaching practice.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
