Mathematics teacher with QTS

Do you have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in mathematics education?

Do you have a proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement and engagement?

Can you understand the challenges students may face in learning mathematics and offering empathetic support can create a positive classroom environment?

In your role as a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher, you'll motivate students to delve into and excel in mathematical concepts, all the while encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Job responsibilities:

• Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
• Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
• Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
• Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
• Set homework and mark promptly
• Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
• Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
• Strong knowledge of the curriculum
• Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:

• You will have a genuine passion for teaching
• Experience up to key stage 3/4
• QTS/PGCE equivalent
• Be flexible and committed
