Maths and English Tutors Needed - £30-£35 per hour

Reed Tutors are recruiting for multiple tutors to support a secondary school in Peterborough, PE6. 

They are keen to have Maths and English tutors to support with Year 11 pupils leading up to exams. 

As an in-person tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, one-on-one and small group (1-6 pupils) tutoring to pupils in need of additional support. You will work closely with pupils and teachers to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Depending on the school, you may work within the classroom environment, or lead sessions yourself based on the school's curriculum. 

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Assess pupils formatively and address misconceptions
• Facilitate a positive learning environment for pupils
• Use a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to engage pupils
• Communicate effectively with pupils, parents, and teachers
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
• Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Provide feedback to pupils and teachers to help move learning forwards

Working hours will be 11:20-3pm every afternoon with a 40 minute unpaid lunch break. 

Pay - £30-£35 per hour based on experience.
