Maths Specialist

Teacher Active are looking for a strong Mathematics Teacher to join their lovely and welcoming team.
The Schools are looking for a Maths Teacher to create fun and engaging lesson plans, help and encourage students in the classroom and manage general classroom behaviour. You must be confident in all areas of the subject and willing to enrich the learning and development of students.
We have roles for Maths specialists all over South Wales including Rhondda Cynnon Taf, Cardiff and Monmouthshire so please reach out as we may have the perfect role for you! The Schools are happy to take a Maths specialist that isn t a qualified Teacher as long as you have experience leading groups and are confident and competent in the role.
The position is full time Monday Friday with the opportunity to go permanent for the right Teacher. The role will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful Maths Teacher may also be required to provide individual plans for Learning Support Assistants to follow when working on a 1:1 basis with SEND students.
