Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver stimulating and differentiated maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment, applying effective behavior management strategies.
• Collaborate with the Maths department and wider school community to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and departmental meetings.
• Provide pastoral support to students, acting as a mentor and guide.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting.
• Familiarity with the latest curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment.
