Here at Teacheractive we are working with an outstanding college that are looking for a Maths Teacher with experience of teaching maths at Functional Skills level with some experience at GCSE level. The role is temporary and is needed for 3-6 months, potentially longer.
The working pattern is Monday to Friday with paid gaps in between teaching.
As an experienced Maths teacher you will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons for young adults in a college setting. The role is mainly teaching Functional Skills however there is one 3 hour slot where you will be teaching pre GCSE maths
To be suitable for the role you will be:
- Have a PGCE/Post graduate certificate iun education
- Experience of teaching maths up to Functional Skills / GCSE level
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new DBS asap
- Be free Monday to Friday and happy to teach 5-6 hours a day
