The School and Role

ABC Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated Maths Supply Teacher to join our client Secondary School for a temporary to permanent position. If you're committed to delivering engaging Maths lessons and making a difference in students' lives, we want to hear from you. The school are committed to supporting and nurturing staff. They are looking for the right person to slot into their dynamic Maths Department. You will be working in an inclusive environment with students that are encouraged to have positive attitudes to learning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to a diverse range of students' needs and abilities.
• Create a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.

Requirements

The successful Maths Teacher will have;

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Maths.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
