About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school client in Quinton.
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16, igniting their curiosity and understanding of mathematical concepts. You will contribute to a positive learning environment, nurturing students' confidence and academic growth while adhering to the national curriculum standards. You will be working with a supportive and friendly network of colleauges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Foster a stimulating classroom atmosphere conducive to active participation and academic excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance, adhering to school policies.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Maths i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
