Position Overview:
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will engage students in challenging and innovative mathematical concepts, foster a supportive learning environment, and contribute to the academic and personal development of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assessments, and instructional strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4, and/or 5 is advantageous.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £41,333 per annum (M1-M6), depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include a supportive professional development program, pension scheme, and opportunities for career advancement.
