Days: 5 Days, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Fixed Term, until July 2024 with permanent opportunity

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4
- Differentiating lesson content to meet a wide range of students needs and abilities
- Delivering KS4 examination content in line with the school examination board
- Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
- Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with special educational needs
- Attending weekly department meetings to help drive forward the schools attainment levels
- Being involved with the school pastoral system, taking ownership of a form/tutor group and delivering the schools pastoral curriculum
Candidate Requirements:
- Holds qualified teacher status (ECTs Welcome).
- Is confident teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 curriculum (KS5 not essential).
- Has excellent classroom control and behaviour management strategies.
- Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make continued progress.
- Is a good team player and willing to work cohesively with the departmental and pastoral team.
