Teachanywhere is looking for experienced mathematics teachers to join Abu Dhabi schools in August 2024.
Mathematics is more than just calculations and sums; it connects abstract concepts to real-world applications.
This opportunity is for teachers from the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa only. (as per the visa regulations)

Curriculum: Bilingual, adapted UAE and US
Experience: 2 years teaching experience
Salary: Tax-free and dependent on experience
Contract: 3 years (can be reviewed annually)

Requirements
- Opportunities exist to teach Maths at the middle school (Grades 6-9) and High school (Grades 10-12) level.Your degree and post-grad certification MUST be in the subject you are applying to teach to pass ministry regulations.
- Additional Masters degree are welcomed but not essential
- 2 years recent full-time teaching experience in a classroom teaching in the medium of English (Your years of experience are calculated from the dates on your degree, NOT transcripts)
- Strong behavioural management skills
- Previous experience of students where English is not their first language is highly desirable
- Culturally sensitive
- Excellent skills in communication, flexibility and adaptability
- Previous international experience is desirable but not essential
School
Teachanywhere is delighted to have been selected as a preferred partner of Emirates School Establishment (ESE), a government state programme launched in 2016 to develop the education sector in the UAE. ESE hires hundreds of expatriate teachers each year to teach in state schools across the country to support its aims to nurture the development of future leaders in one of the fastest growing knowledge economies in the world.
ESE has a rolling hiring intake throughout the year, with a focus on hiring in August and January. We are currently keen to hear from applicants who wish to be considered for an August 2024 start.
Applicants must go through an interview process that includes an initial online assessment followed by a virtual interview, which will include a short planned lesson demonstration. Recruitment of math teachers is anticipated to begin in early 2024 for an August 2024 start.
