Maths Teaching Assistant

*** Providing 1:1 and small group support to GCSE Maths students.
*** Exceptional mentoring and support opportunities.
The Graduate:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the confidence to aid students with their understanding.
• Passion for the field of mathematics and a dedication to the education of KS3 and KS4 students.
• Clear, concise communication style.
• Previous experience of working alongside secondary school students is beneficial, but not essential.
The Role
• Assisting teaching staff with daily tasks such as planning and delivering lessons, assessing classwork, and providing feedback.
• Creating personalised support strategies.
• Providing 1-2-1 and small group GCSE Maths support.
• Addressing students’ questions and queries.
• Partaking in staff meetings and training courses.
• Assisting in parent’s evenings.
