About the role The MBBS Placements Manager (Royal Free Foundation Trust) acts as the Medical School’s designated placement liaison manager at the Royal Free Foundation Trust and manages the placements administration team there. They will provide strategic support for the MBBS Senior Leadership Teams the NHS Trust Director of Undergraduate Education and work closely with Academic leads and other Academic, Clinical and professional services staff across UCL and its NHS partners. They will set the service standards for placement administration and be able to guide and direct the placements team in all aspects of placements management. The post holder will have experience in leadership and management, able to lead and motivate a team. Appointment details: The post is graded at GRADE 8, the annual salary for which ranges from £51,474 to £60,521 per annum (including London Allowance). The appointment is available from March 2024 and is a permanent position. About you You are an experienced manager and have an in-depth knowledge of academic programme management requirements along with experience of designing and implementing the administrative systems that underpin education provision. You are an excellent communicator able to work with a variety of stakeholders and are able to manage and motivate a team. You can think critically analytically in order to provide information to different stakeholders that really adds value. You are proactive and keen to improve processes and can evidence how you have been able to do this previously. You have an in depth knowledge of MBBS placement design, timetabling and management.
