A construction company in Newcastle is looking for a Technical Business Manager/ M&E Manager to oversee the M&E works on a large scale project.
The Role
- Monday to Friday
- £380-400 per day CIS/LTD- negotiable for the right person.
- Newcastle.
- ASAP start.
- 18 months of work.
Responsibilities
- Possess a proven track record in delivering complex commercial projects.
- Project experience on M&E works.
- Ensure the client specification is met and liaise with the client's consultants.
- Experience working in procurement, management, defects and overseeing work.
- Experience communicating and working with design teams.
- Lead and inspire a multi-skilled team and set the tone for large projects.
- Communicating and liaising with clients.
- Running projects at pre construction stage.
- Be a critical part of a business that's embedding innovation.
Requirements
- Experience in construction, specifically M&E.
- SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS & First Aid certificates.
- Strong communication skills to manage, mentor and empower your team.
- The confidence and credibility to liaise with business leaders.
- Commercial acumen to control costs and keep projects on budget.
- To understand standard forms of contracts and performance evaluation techniques.
- Experience in procurement.
