Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to play a pivotal role in our ongoing and upcoming retail and school framework projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the financial success of these projects by managing costs, contracts, and budgets effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for framework projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost control and adherence to budgets.
- Conduct regular cost assessments, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor and analyse project financial performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Quantity Surveying
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Familiarity with retail and school framework projects
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, cost estimating software)
Salary Range: £25,000 to £40,000, depending on experience.
