Job description

The British Heart Foundation is looking for a talented Organisational Change & Development Consultant to join our vibrant Talent & Organisational Development team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is your chance to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance our People Experience and support our mission.

Our BHF organisational strategic pillar ‘Striving for Excellence’ combined with our People Experience aims of ‘Unlocking our Potential and Maximising our Impact’ are the foundation for our Organisational Change team and the work we lead on.

As Organisational Change & Development Consultant you will:

  • Lead and drive projects, celebrating successes along the way
  • Own the delivery of activities within large scale projects
  • Craft and implement change plans tailored to project needs
  • Engage stakeholders, securing buy-in for change initiatives
  • Carry out regular evaluations and utilise insights and analysis to support evidence-based approaches
  • Support the wider Talent & Organisational Development programmes and events
  • Be part of a supportive and progressive environment that values teamwork and innovation.

Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.
The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you must be prepared to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause. Most of our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office each week, on average.

About you

Are you energised by thinking differently and creatively? Are you curious? If so, you could be the Organisational Change & Development Consultant we’re looking for.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of organisational change models and principles
  • Proficiency in consulting skills and project management
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A proactive attitude with a knack for creative solutions
  • The ability to engage and influence at all organisational levels
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite

Excited about this position, but not sure you meet all the requirements? We’re eager to meet people that believe in our mission, who have a can-do attitude, and who can contribute to our team in a variety of ways - not just candidates who check all the boxes. If you are excited about this role and share our passion of a culture of continuous development, we would encourage you to apply.

About us
We value and respect every individual’s unique contribution, celebrate diversity, and make inclusion part of what we do every day.
Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy, Igniting Change, along with our internal EDI group, Kaleidoscope, and a growing number of employee network groups (our Affinity Groups), help us create an environment where all our colleagues and volunteers can succeed.
