Job description

It's an exciting time to join the Changing Futures Team in Hull, as one of 15 successful areas in the Government-funded Changing Futures Programme, we are delivering system change for rough sleepers and others who experience severe and multiple disadvantage in the city. The Programme is multi-faceted and based on strong partnerships with health, criminal justice and voluntary and community sector partners
We are seeking to recruit a MEAM (Making Every Adult Matter) Navigator, funded through the Rough Sleeping Initiative, to provide person-centred and trauma informed support to individuals who have severe multiple disadvantage and a history of rough sleeping.
The post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills with empathy and the ability to work in an empowering and enabling way with individuals who have severe and multiple disadvantage and have a history of rough sleeping. Previous experience of working with vulnerable adults with severe multiple disadvantage is essential for this role. The post holder will be required to work in a trauma informed way with the indivudals and ensure a person centred approach is adpated to the individuals needs.
The post will be pivotal in delivering the required system change to end multiple disadvantage and rough sleeping in Hull.
This post is FIXED TERM until 31 March 2025 due to funding
