Ground/Plant Mechanics
Hours: Full time; early and late shift patterns
Location: Aberdeen
Pay rate: £15.75 per hour
Duration: 12 weeks initially
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen for Plant Mechanics to start immediately on a temporary contract for an initial 12 weeks. This is a full-time position offering both early and late shift patterns as outlined below:
Early week: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 14:00pm and Friday 6:00am - 13:30pm
Late week: Monday - Thursday 14:00pm -22:00pm and Friday 11:30am - 19:00pm
Candidates must be prepared to join the out of hours on-call breakdown rota and work outside in all weathers.
Main Duties:

• Completing inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of vehicles, plant, and equipment to required standards
• Carry out duties in compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures
• Operate equipment to the required standard and report any defects to their supervisor
• Complete Digital paperwork as required

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

• City and Guilds, SVQ construction – Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering 
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers
