Contract: Initial 3 months with potential extension
Hours: Full time, 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday
Working Location: Eccles New Rd, Salford, M50
Salford City Council are looking for a Qualified Mechanic / MOT Tester, to carry out in depth examination of all vehicles presented for MOT Testing under existing legislation and to V.O.S.A. standards.
What skills do you Need?
- Must have previous Mechanic / MOT Tester experience and be fully qualified.
- Excellent people skills, as you will be speaking to the public, and other members of staff.
- Physically Fit and healthy, as you may be required to lift heavy items. As well as being on your feet for most of the day.
- Strong IT Skills, as you will be inputting important information onto internal systems.
- Valid UK Driving Licence
