Experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician required for a busy service centre in Whitstable, Kent. We are looking for a team player, skilled in diagnostics, fault finding, and a demonstrable ability to find a first-time fix.

THE ROLE
As an A2 Tyres Mechanic / Vehicle Technician, you will carry out all aspects of light vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs with the highest level of quality and efficiency. As well as serving a private client base across the local area, we also have several large fleet contracts.
ABOUT YOU
We want people who share our passion for success. You will be expected to take pride in your workmanship, treating the maintenance and reliability of our customer vehicles as if they were your own.
- The ideal candidate will possess NVQ Level 3 or equivalent time served experience.
- This is a middleweight role so you should have a solid mechanical background with at least 3 years of experience in a similar workshop environment: You will be skilled in diagnostics and fault finding with a demonstrable ability to find a first-time fix.
- We are looking for team players with a positive attitude.
- You will be expected to reach and exceed efficiency targets, with the ability to perform under pressure during busy periods without losing your cool.
- A friendly disposition and good communication skills are also a must as there may be times when you need to speak to customers.
- A valid driving licence is essential, with no more than 6 points (you will be subject to background checks).
THE PACKAGE
We offer a competitive salary based on experience.
You will be working a 46-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm with one day off during the week. Saturday 08:00am to 4:00pm.
