Salary: GBP25,000 per annum
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm
The role
As the Mechanical Assembler your role will involve the following important duties:
- View the priority builds board and select the kit of parts for the next assembly.
- Check kit for correct parts and refer to stores or supervision over any discrepancies.
- Operate overhead travelling gantry crane and provide correct slinging procedure to load and transport large items.
- Assemble and test products to specification, using air guns and spanners.
- Provide support for requirements of ISO 9001.
The experience required
As a successful Mechanical Assembler, you will have the following:
- Working to engineering drawings.
- Previous experience within a similar assembly environment.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to lift and move goods up to 20kg.
