SalaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler for our client team based in Southend. If you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail, this role could be your perfect fit. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems, ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform inspections and testing of assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues during the assembly process.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to improve assembly processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and documentation.
Shifts and pay rate:
Monday till Friday, 800-1700, £11.95 per hour, weekly pay.
