SalaryConnect Appointments are recruiting for our clients award-winning Dunfermline team as a Mechanical Assembly Operative!
What's on offer? A permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish). Paid at a competitive salary of £21,500 to £28,000 per annum (negotiable). But that's not all, you will benefit from 33 days holiday per year; readily available overtime with high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
Our client's product range covers everything from refrigerated double deck trailers to clinical waste vehicles, and our talented team designs and builds industry-leading products that are exceptionally well engineered and of outstanding quality. Working as a Mechanical Assembly Operative, your duties will include:
- Working to a high standard in line with policies and procedures
- Use air hand tools and work from drawings
- Maintain 5S standards throughout the workplace
- Collaborate with team members to produce exceptional products
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
To be successful, you will ideally be a time served, skilled, or semi-skilled Mechanical Assembly Operative - ideally with previous experience in a manufacturing/workshop environment. Combined with:
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with hand/air sealer gun and ability to work in a team environment
- A valid HGV category 3 license is desirable - but not essential
