SalaryMechanical Project Manager, required for our client, a HVAC specialist who operate throughout the South of England, with their head office based in Dorset. The Mechanical Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, surveying and quoting jobs, supervising junior project engineers, the procurement of materials, labour etc, compiling RAMs and ensuring H&S compliance on projects, programme management and liasing with clients to provide ongoing progress updates.
The Mechanical Project Manager will split their time between a satellite office in Weybridge and visting sites around the region, as they will potentially be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at anyone time (depending on size). Projects range from sites such as hotels, to office and range in value from small works of £50,000, up to cira £1.5m. The bias of the clients projects are commercial heating / plant room installations, as well as some air conditioning install projects. The Project Manager does not necessarily need to have a technical background, within HVAC (as their will be technical support from other managers / supervisors) but MUST have project management experience within the HVAC industry.
Mechanical Project Manager Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a mechanical project manager role (ideally commercial heating biased)
- Ability to oversee multiple projects at any one time
- Based within commutable distance to the Weybridge area
Mechanical Project Manager Position Remuneration
- Salary £55,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
- Bonus (depending on profitability of the projects)
