Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, maybe your background is as a tool maker or mechanically minded engineer able to understand and see how 3D products are engineered.

You will be involved in all aspects of the design and engineering of products and join a close-knit team to innovate new and improve exciting products. This is Monday to Friday, with training and Development programs in place.

The company are a leading design and manufacturer that offers high-quality solutions within the audio-visual sectors working on projects on a national and international level covering automotive to construction industries.

The role involves you producing detailed 2D/3D models in AutoCAD/SolidWorks and meeting design requirements aligned to project specifications with a good understanding of the engineering involved to take to production. Provide support to the wider design team on new products and technologies for existing product improvements. No day will be the same with various tasks involved.

The Role:

* Mechanical Design Engineer

* Produce 2D/3D drawings of products

* Assist with component quality and checking components against drawings

* Research new product ideas and engineering methods and find design solutions to problems

Candidate Requirements:

* Engineering degree in Mechanical/Design or Similar

* 2D/3D CAD Software (AutoCad, SolidWorks or other 2D/3D drawing packages.)

* Technical / Manufacturing Background
