I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in East Yorkshire. Salary up to £44,000 + Benefits.

The client is a leading engineering organisation that operate at the forefront of their market. They provide engineering solutions to a wide range of clients and industries, all of which varying in complexity. They employ over 350 in the UK across 4 sites and 350,000 employees globally. Whilst they are based in the UK, they also deliver their solutions into clients across the globe.

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they the need to recruit for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

In your role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of design from concept through to prototype and manufacture. You will be working on bespoke projects from concept. You will be working closely with the Site Project Manager.

Essential Requirements:

- Ideally 4 Years’ Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

- 3D CAD Experience (Ideally Inventor)

- Experience with Design of Pressure Vessel, Heavy Plants Machinery, Structural Steel or Similar
