Excellent role on offer for someone looking to join a join a well-established company, where you will be a key part of the team, contributing to the design of exciting and specialist products, taking ownership of long term mechanical projects.
Do you have experience using SolidWorks and FEA? Are you looking to take control of large-scale, specialist projects?
This company specialise in the design and manufacture of media entertainment systems and attractions. Having recently won a series of long-term contracts, with more in the pipeline, they are looking to expand their design team in order to cope with growth and increased demands.
You will be delivering the Mechanical Design process, liaising with the electrical/software/AV design teams to complete the projects successfully. You will be responsible for using 2D and 3D AutoCAD, specifically SolidWorks, and also using FEA and stress analysis, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
The ideal candidate will have good experience using SolidWorks and FEA, as well as GD&T. You will also preferably have a good understanding of manufacturing techniques and methods. This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious company, on creative, exciting projects within a niche industry
The Role
- 2D & 3D Mechanical Designing on AutoCAD and SolidWorks

The Person
- Experience in AutoCAD/SolidWorks
- Good knowledge of stress calculations and FEA
