Working - Monday to Friday flexitime (core house 10:00 - 16:00)
We are looking for a Mechanical design Engineer for our client based in Leicester. Are you looking for a role that can genuinely offer variety, working in a supportive team to accomplish a common goal? If so then read on and this could be the one for you.
This role is for a design company working mainly within the building services sector.
However our client is not looking for graduates for this role, you must have at least 3 years experience within mechanical engineering/Design Engineering within the construction/building services. You must be local the Leicester area (we are NOT looking for international re locations and do not provide sponsorship).
So what will you be doing?
- You will take on responsibilities of a mechanical engineer on a selection of projects.
- Also responsible for the design and design quality aspects of a project.
- Assist the project lead in resourcing and workload within the teams.
- Set and manage design goals with the project senior
- Participate in team meetings for project coordination, reporting up workloads/priorities.
- Adopt the most up to date practices.
- Some client liaison & admin work.
What they need from you
- Someone who keeps an eye out for ways of improving team moral, productivity & efficiency.
- Have a firm understanding of current building regs.
- CIBSE documentation
- BSRIA documentation
- Efficient & experienced in design works (AutoCAD, Heavacomp) within the building services industry
