Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Design Engineer with expertise in Mechanical Design to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our client's machinery, leveraging their proficiency in Creo and their innovative mindset to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to conceptualise, design, and develop mechanical components and systems for machinery.
- Use Creo software to create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of designs to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to performance specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing clear and comprehensive documentation and guidance to ensure smooth production.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance design processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Creo (Pro/ENGINEER) software is essential.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
