AddressMy client based in Slough are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the concept to completion design of products within the agreed specification, time and costs.
To be considered you will have the following experience:
- HNC/HND/BEng level in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD 3D/2D
- Design of sheet metal enclosures & machined parts
- Specification of materials and finishes for various environmental conditions
- An understanding of electrical and thermal principles
- Familiar with international standards (EN 61439, ISO 12944, ISO 1461 for example)
- FEA techniques (NASTRAN) would be advantageous
