AddressDue to an internal move, an opportunity has arisen for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in the Rossendale area. This role demands a positive, proactive individual committed to maintaining quality standards. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects, demonstrating efficiency and professionalism.
This role is ideal for a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer with excellent customer service skills, capable of managing projects independently. The perfect candidate thrives on delivering high-quality work, collaborates effectively within a team, and maintains a professional approach with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce SolidWorks drawings and collaborate with the Buyer on parts procurement.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, providing regular updates to the Managing Director and Project Coordinator.
- Manage project handovers from the Sales Team, obtaining necessary information for successful completion.
- Communicate progress to customers weekly and attend customer sites and project meetings as required.
In return you'll receive a salary of up to 35k, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (rising with tenure) and bonuses (up to 10% per annum), all for a working week of just 34 hours!
