You would be working as a key member of the Mechanical Design team liaising with the fabrication and product build teams.
Experience with
- Inventor software is ideal but not essential
- Working with steel/sheet metal design is also hugely beneficial.
- Designing bespoke cabinets for secure critical sectors
Purpose
Working closely with the Engineering Team on the preparation of detailed designs and specific contract works instructions and documentation.
Key Duties
• Close liaison with manufacturing
• Working with the Engineering Team to ensure compliance with agreed build specification and Company design criteria
• Technical liaison with customers
• Attend client meetings as required/requested.
• Responsible for engineering orders won by the company, within budget and time frame, to specification and quality standards and achieve engineering in terms of production and handover dates
