Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with either SolidWorks or Inventor experience, looking for an role within an industry-leading organisation that specialises in design, manufacture and installation of bespoke interior fit out products? Who can offer a great financial package along with progression and training?
Are you looking for a varied position, working for a highly regarded and reputable business who are continually growing and investing in its employees? You will play an essential role within the company, designing specialist joinery solutions that you will bring to life through converting design briefs into bespoke interior equipment for house hold names such as the NHS and Waitrose.
On offer is the fantastic opportunity to work for a successful company with a history of over 20 years. They are the market-leading joinery manufacturer of interior fit out solutions who provide high quality products to a range of industries such as retail, corporate, hospitality, healthcare and education. This company primarily specialise within the design of retail equipment within shop fit outs. You will be a pivotal part of the small design team of eight liaising with the production team to ensure that products remain compliant with customer specifications.
The ideal candidate will receive specialist training to become the industry expert within the manufacture of bespoke fitout products from joinery and metalwork to lighting and signage.
The Role:

• Converting design brief into 2D layout drawings
• Convert 2D design into 3D designs
• Laise with workshop team to ensure that products remain compliant with customer specifications
• Create full production drawing packs
• Creating cutting lists and requisition sheets
