SRG are proud to be partnered with an award winning start-up based in the Central belt of Scotland. This company have patented an energy storage system which takes the potential of water filled energy heating systems and converts into green, renewable electricity for the home or workplace.
This innovative start-up are currently seeking an experienced mechanical/manufacturing engineer to join their team and lead the design and manufacture of an electrolyte manufacturing line, as well as the design and manufacture of battery stacks.
In this role you will work very closely with the C-suite leaders t perform engineering design work, and the role is defined by the successful installation of equipment used in electrolyte and battery stack manufacturing. This will involve the design of new products and processes, the creation of 3D CAD models and drawings suitable for manufacturing, including fabrication and machining. You will also be responsible for some high level project management, R&D and testing.
The ideal candidate will have the following expertise/experience:
- Rich prior experience using 3D CAD, preferably solidworks
- Prior experience setting up a manufacturing line
- Demonstrable experience working in a Mechanical Engineering experience, preferably including design
- Injection moulding knowledge would be advantageous
