We’re working with a renowned business who provide innovative solutions to the print and packaging industries. Established for over 50 years, this business are specialists in machinery installation, relocation, modification, servicing, and repairs. They’re ideally looking for someone with knowledge of the relocation and installation of heavy-duty machinery used within print production, but similar experienced gained in other areas of FMCG manufacturing would also be desirable.
The Role:

- Equipment Handling: Safely move and position a variety of industrial scale printing equipment, ensuring no damage, and optimal placement.
- Installation: Expertly install new machinery, ensuring all systems are operational.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and departments to ensure seamless integration of new equipment.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.

The Person:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally Print Equipment, or heavy-duty machinery within another FMCG sector.
- Ability to manoeuvre, line and level equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of working away from home when required – either across the UK or overseas
- Full driving licence + passport holder
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
