Are you an Mechanical Engineer or similar looking to use your industry knowledge in a teaching / instructing role with a company who are dedicated to developing the next generation of the UK's engineers, who will pay for your teaching qualifications, develop your instructing skills and give you another long term career pathway?

On offer is the opportunity to join a multi-site training association who are dedicated to passing the knowledge on to the next generation of Engineers and Apprentices. They work with over 100 companies providing upskill training, HNC/HND, mechanical courses and apprentice training. Formed over 60 years ago, they are looking for the next wave of skilled Engineers to grow their teaching team across, electrical, mechanical and machining disciplines.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for training mechanical prospects from various industries on things such as planned and reactive maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics and machine operation. The company will pay for and help you work towards your teaching qualifications and develop your new career.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer or similar looking to use their knowledge in a new career path, for a company who are expanding rapidly, teaching the next generation of Engineers and give you the ability to forge a career on a Monday to Friday basis.

The Role:

• Instructing / Teaching prospective Mechanical Engineers
• Training on PPM, reactive maintenance, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ensuring safe practice and use of hand tools
• Monday to Friday - off the tools
• Teacher Qualification Training

The Person:

• Mechanical Engineer or similar
• Looking to get into an Instructor / Teaching role
• Based near Hull
