SalaryMechanical Engineerrequired. My client is a well-established manufacturer and supplier of Pyrotechnic equipment to the entertainment industry. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team at their Peterborough site to bolster their service and maintenance capabilities. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Mechanical background, have solid Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience and will be based within a commutable distance of Peterborough.
Mechanical Engineer Position Overview
- Conceptualize, develop, and prototype machinery and tooling.
- Assess the operational efficiency of on-site machinery and incoming equipment.
- Establish a proactive maintenance schedule for all tooling and equipment.
- Identify and maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to address potential equipment issues promptly.
- Collaborate with chemists and operations managers to support seamless and punctual manufacturing processes by upkeeping equipment and crafting fixtures as required
Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements
- Strong experience in maintaining and servicing Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment
- Ideally qualified in Mechanical Engineering (BEng / HNC / HND)
- Possess a strong awareness of health and safety standards.
- Full driving licence
- Based within a commutable distance of Peterborough
Mechanical Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £35,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday: 09:00 - 16:00
